How to Book a workshop

Workshop fees must be paid in full at the time of booking. Once I have received your booking and cheque, I will confirm by sending you a receipt and requirements list.
If you would like to attend a workshop but live too far away to travel within the day, I can supply a list of hotel and B&B accommodation. If you want to travel by train I can arrange a pick up.
If you need to cancel your booking, I require 10 days notice in order for you to receive a refund, please be aware that there is no refund if less than 10 days notice is given.
Occasionally I have to cancel a workshop due to circumstances beyond my control. If this arises, I will give 10 days notice and a full refund.
All day workshops are from 10am - 4pm the studio will be open from 9.30 am for students. You will need to bring a packed lunch or you can pick something up in Ledbury but tea and coffee will be available all day.
Due to new council rules, our nearest car park is only 4hrs max parking, so you have to park a little way from the studio all day. Please let me know if you need help carrying stuff or walking to the studio.

Illuminated Icons
This was the first of the velvet style workshop. I developed a perforation technique using the sewing machine. You need to collect as many aluminium sweetie foils as you can, then all you need is an image a small piece of black cotton velvet and some bondaweb, oh yes and you need a sewing machine to embellish. Come and have a go, they are good fun to make.

Shimmering Landscapes
Back to black cotton velvet again, I’ve developed this workshop to show you how to use transfoils with bondaweb, Mistyfuse, Fuse FX, Hotspots and Supermend. Taking simple land or seascapes as a theme I will show you how to use these glues to make a twinkling surface for stitch.

Inspired By Klimt
If you don’t know by now….I am inspired by Klimt! Check my website to find this out. His shapes and pattern are easy to draw upon for a one day workshop. Again this is a velvet workshop using foils, organza and stitch, the results are pleasing and more often than not students have a framable piece at the end of the day.

Saturday 4th & Sunday 5th Sept
PRINT! STAMP! STITCH! With Angie & Jeanette
This is a new workshop, I’m experimenting with stamping for the new book and Jeanette has been working with thermofax screen printing, so we thought we’d get together and present a workshop combining the two techniques. If want a sneaky preview come along to discover old and new ideas with stitch and paint, but be prepared you will be guinea pigs!!! All the best Eureka moments happen on these workshops. Fee includes inks but you will need fabric.
